Discovering Pride Book Summary

Short-Summary:

Lacey Jordan is a woman who knows what she wants…and she wants nothing to do with the new doctor in town. He has a perfect smile, perfectly tan muscles, and a way with people—her people! This is her town, her family, and her life, and he’s come here shaking everything up, including her heart.
Aaron is running away from a tough breakup where heartbreak is the least of his concerns. All he wants now is to take over his grandfather’s medical practice, and make his new house a place he can call home. What he hadn't counted on was crashing into a petite goddess with relentless powers of persuasion. When the two get a disturbing visit that could change their lives forever, Aaron must prove his love if they are to survive.

I have enjoyed so far 3 of Jill Sanders series even with the grammatical errors which I blame the publishing company for but when reading this book I realized it was more than grammatical errors. I was reading about someone being caught with Tom and towards the end of the book the name changed to Brett I believe, I had noticed mistakes like this one before but then I thought impossible but this confirms it. Other times was with places, clothing or other situations but I thought I was reading too fast and misunderstood what I had read, had to go a few chapters back and there it was. I am care about grammatical errors but not enough to deduct stars but completely forgetting a name used for a character or scene and replacing it with something else, she also writes this person is a best friend to later change it I believe to a co-worker. Don't you read your own books before sending to print?

Loved the first book in the series but this one was kind of boring. Like the characters, just wish their story was less predictable and more entertaining.

This author tells a great story. However, it is troubling to notice poor punctuation throughout and poor grammar and sentence structure. I noted that she did have an editor but it seems she didn't edit. I look forward to reading more books by this author. Hopefully with a more experienced and astute editor. This author deserves better.

The story is wonderful. The only problem I have is it seems that no one proof read the book. There are names that have been switched and number of years written wrong. This seemed to happen through out all of her books that I read so far. There were a few chapters that were cut off. That might be an I book thing.

I have read the first two books in the Pride series in the last two days!!! I loved them and am off to buy the 3rd! My only criticism is that there are typos, grammatical errors and the word afterwords when it should be afterwards. Grammatical errors drive me crazy. Not sure if it is just the iTunes library that got them wrong. I just hope the next book has been proofread! ;)
